Data Protection

Should person-related data (for example name, address or e-mail addresses) be employed on our pages, then this as far as possible always occurs on a voluntary basis. Furthermore, the use of offers and services can be resorted to at all times without recourse to the provision of person-related data. We should like to point out that the transference of data on the internet (e.g. through e-mail communication) can result in security gaps. Perfect protection of data to prevent third party access is not possible. The utilisation of contact data by third parties published within the scope of the obligation to feature the masthead as called for under German law to transmit non-expressly requested advertising and information material is herewith explicitly rejected. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take recourse to legal measures should advertising material, via spam-mails for example, be transmitted without approval.

Google Analytics

Our web site uses Google Analytics to optimise the advantages it offers you. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). This service uses so-called ‘cookies’ (text files) that are saved on your computer. The information gained this way, and generally stored on a Google server in the USA, allows Google, on our behalf, to evaluate your usage behaviour on our web site in order to prepare reports on activities undertaken on our web site and thus permits us to provide further services via our web site. The evaluation of these data takes place anonymously. Technical measures ensure that Google shortens your IP address, removing several of the final characters. Fundamentally, this occurs within the member states of the European Union or in other countries that have signed up to the agreement via the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. It is therefore basically impossible for you to be traced via the IP address provided or for Google to combine your IP address with other data.

If you would like to use our web site without Google Analytics obtaining your anonymised usage behaviour you can prevent this a few steps:

You can prevent the saving of cookies by making the appropriate settings on your Internet browser. It is possible, however, that not all the functions of our web site will be available to you in this case.

You can also prevent the collection of your user data (including your IP address) and the evaluation of your usage behaviour by Google by downloading a browser plug-in (developed by Google) from the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en) and installing it in your browser.

Further information on the terms of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/.
