The Hotel Bareiss has a new sommelier: Teoman Mezda. He has been at the hotel since the early of summer 2017. Teoman Mezda is a proven expert who learnt his trade from the bottom up. He has had a veritable career based on a solid foundation: training as a Restaurant Specialist at the famous Parkhotel Wehrle in Triberg. Here, he learnt the great classics of his craft, to the benefit of his subsequent jobs. These include the Traube Tonbach, Dollenberg and Sackmann. Before he came to the Bareiss he was Restaurant Manager of the gourmet restaurant at Brenner’s Park-Hotel. The qualified Chamber of Industry
and Commerce Sommelier has received several awards for his expertise: in 2015 the Frankfurter  Allgemeine newspaper made him Sommelier of the Year, and the Schlemmeratlas included him among Germany’s top 50 Sommeliers in 2016 and 2017.
