Paths for bon vivants, adventure hikes, ‘healthy climate’ routes and trekking tours – the Baiersbronn Hiking Heaven opens up the best of the Black Forest on an extensive network of paths with a total length of 550 kilometres. With stages for every level, plateaus offering wonderful views, and places for culinary breaks. The path is the goal – you can most beautifully experience exactly what this means.
The Murgleiter
The »Murgleiter« leads from Baiersbronn along the »Seensteig« to the »Huzenbacher Seeblick«, then on via Forbach and Weisenbach to Gernsbach. The special thing about this tour is that it runs parallel to the River Murg and, as if from a ladder, the hiker can always easily reach local public transport stops. This multi-section path has a total length of 66 km and leads to the most beautiful locations in the municipality.

Seensteig
The »Seensteig« runs round Baiersbronn, to cirque lakes and peaks, along the municipal boundary. 84 kilometres of lush nature and fantastic sceneries, rarely found in such abundance, ensure that the four or five daily stretches are never boring. The start and destination is at the Hiking Information Centre at Baiersbronn station.

The Nine »Himmelswege«
Nine themed circular trails along particularly beautiful stretches of countryside – wherever possible on paths with stiles away from the logging trails and always with good access to local public transport – take you around Baiersbronn and its outlying hamlets. The destinations of the thematically varied hikes (between 11 and 21 kilometres long) offer numerous selected scenic highlights. A large hiking map with even more tour suggestions is located at the starting points of all nine »Himmelswege«.

Winter hiking paths
You can also experience the particular attraction of Baiersbronn in winter. The »Baiersbronner Wanderhimmel« becomes a real winter fairy tale when the snow lies gently upon the mountains and valleys. Many of the paths are also constructed for winter hikers.
