Starting 01.03.2026 until october 2026 the federal road B 462 between Forbach and Gernsbach-Hilpertsau will undergo renovation works along a total length of approximately 10 km. Traffic will be diverted in phases via alternative routes (via the L83 Sand–Raumünzach and the Bundesstraße 500). We recommend travelling via the Schwarzwaldhochstraße (B 500) and continuing to Ruhestein. If you are arriving via the Autobahn 5 (A5), please take the Achern exit and continue via Ruhestein towards Obertal and finally to Mitteltal.
A scheduled construction break is expected between Whitsun and the summer holidays.
Instead of arriving in your own vehicle you can take the train via Baiersbronn station or use our exclusive door-to-door Limousine Service. If you travel by train we would be pleased to send a chauffeur or organise a taxi for you.
