The Association for the Promotion of Art, Media and Science (FKMW) presents an evening of selected masterworks for keyboard, spanning the period from the Baroque to the High Romantic era. With François Couperin, the leading figure of the French harpsichord tradition of the early eighteenth century, Frédéric Chopin, the Polish-French master of lyrical piano poetry in the Romantic period, and Franz Liszt, the pioneering virtuoso and sound innovator of the High Romantic era, the programme draws a wide stylistic arc. Pianist Jan Daniels guides the audience through these three distinct musical epochs, impressively illuminating the multifaceted development of European piano music.

We wish you a pleasant evening with a glass of sparkling wine in our library and kindly ask you to make your reservation by 5.30 pm.
