Classic Car Weeks in the Black Forest
Long live historical motor racing!
Rattling along fantastically beautiful routes through the Black Forest in your own vintage vehicle, cultivating historical motor racing, and proving your sporting qualities: those whose hearts start beating faster when considering these ideas will find several opportunities to meet kindred spirits at the Bareiss. The Bareiss Classics, which we initiated years ago, now take place twice a year due to their enormous popularity, while the Baiersbronn Classic is an invitation from the local council. Enthusiasts of historical vehicles consider these dates to be an insider tip that they are glad to talk about.
Every June and September, our Bareiss becomes a meeting place for tradition-conscious motorists. Since their initiation in 2004, the Bareiss Classics have enjoyed unbroken popularity and have been an international attraction. This caused us to offer, for the first time, a second date in 2018 and to set up the Bareiss Classics Spring. This doubles the opportunity to participate and shortens the time to the next start…
The Arrangement includes the following:
- 4 resp. 5 nights with Bareiss halfboard, Arrival: Sunday/Wednesday or by individual arrangement
- Sunday/Wednesday: welcome from Kai Schmalzried and handing over route books in the Dorfstuben
- Daily drives with interesting stops to the highlights in our region
- Wednesday evening/Saturday evening: recognition ceremony for all participants in the library andgroup dinner with a menu by 3-star chef, Claus-Peter Lumpp
Please ask for prices and detailed information on the Bareiss Classics. You are welcome to come with your historical vehicle at other times and undertake individual tours. We would be pleased to put together the region’s most beautiful routes for you.
The Baiersbronn Classic is a popular event organised by the Baiersbronn Tourist Office. The local council has dedicated three days to the start and history of motor sports: the Black Forest Rally takes place along beautiful stretches through the autumn-coloured countryside in the Obertal Valley where Germany’s first motor sport event after the Second World War – the Ruhestein-Bergrennen – took place in 1946.
Combine participation in the Baiersbronn Classic with a stay at the Hotel Bareiss, and enjoy talking shop with vintage car enthusiasts from all over the world. Our Reservations team would be pleased to provide you with information on this personally.
