The hotel’s Wine Cellar is richly provided with more than 1,000 items and, between the lines, the wine list tells fascinating stories with big names and wines. The list is internationally aligned and presents an excellent selection of French treasures; though domestic wines from Baden and Wuerttemberg are given preferential treatment as a result of their quality and variety. Apart from this, we recommend our own vineyards and our Bareiss Edition.
Named »Sommelier of the Year« (2015) by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and placed among Germany’s top 50 sommeliers in 2016 and 2017 by the Schlemmeratlas: our Sommelier Teomann Mezda knows his business, and is well versed in imparting a lot of knowledge and experience to our guests on request. After completing his training as a restaurant specialist at the Parkhotel Wehrle in Triberg, he worked at the Traube Tonbach, the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Dollenberg, the Romantik Hotel Sackmann, and Brenner’s Park Hotel. After this he was ready for the Bareiss, and has been with us since 2017.

They flourish on mineral-rich soils on our own slopes, are decanted in our restaurants, and are also available for you at home – they can be purchased at our »Lädle« in the Shopping Passage and at our Online Shop.
